Twice a week, I attend a figure drawing session in my area to study and practice human anatomy from a live, nude model. Additionally, I like to draw while I’m on the go- I’ll doodle people I see in public to practice quick sketching and drawing with a subject in motion.

While temping at Pixar, I had the ability to practice portraits with oil paints in long pose sessions.

When I want to learn how to draw something new, I’ll do a series of drawings on the subject. Sometimes they’re done with digital equipment such as a Cintiq and Adobe Photoshop; othertimes, I like to use pens and paper.

Using my ability to draw, I assisted 3D modelers by doing turnarounds of characters to help retain the character’s likeness.
